Hello all,
We are deploying some new hosts in a cluster. One of the hosts fails with following message "Host is out of compliance with the image" all other hosts work fine. When I remove the component "NetApp NAS VAAI Module for ESX Server" the compliance check succeed.
Any clue what else we can do?
Thank you!
- This is a virtualization query and not NAS.
- Please try stps 3 and 4 in the below document and see if it fixes the issue for you.

Thank you
Hello,
Already did that and the settings are all ok. So it didn't help.
Best regards
If verification is successful after step 3 and 4, the following output is displayed:
openssl dgst -sha256 -verify csc-prod-CFSG-NFS-Plugin.pub -signature /tmp/ NetAppNasPlugin-<version>.zip.sig /tmp/NetAppNasPlugin-<version>.zip
That was indeed my next step, just waiting for a colleague of mine who has access to the site to download the ZIP. He'll be back in 2 weeks. Will keep you informed.
We have the same problem - in my opinion the problem is, that the VAAI-Plugin is not available to select in the VMware-Baseline. That is the reason, why the Cluster/ESX-Host´s aren´t compliant with the Baseline.
Workaround/Solution: Import the VIB (ZIP-Package) into the Lifecyclemanager. Afterwards create/modify the image of a cluster and select the VAAI-Plugin at "Components".
Where is the download link for this zip package?
What version of OnTap tools you are on? We had issue with Ontap tools (scv 6.1) on Exs 8.0.3, wasn't compatible. I had to deploy a new 9.13 OVA. Ontap tools is OK now. Downloaded NAS plugin 2.0.1 (zip file) and waiting for next reboot of ESXi hosts.
