Netapp Fas2552 7-MODE UPDATE C-mode

Hello everyone, I have seen many articles in the forum about Fas2552 7-mode upgrade to c-mode. But many kilobytes seem to be inaccessible.

It appears that Fas2552 cannot be upgraded directly from 7-MODE to C-mode. There seems to be only one way to reformat. Do you have the corresponding documents?

And right now I have two FAS2552 Snapmirrors. I also need to consider the 7-mode and c-mode license issues

There is no direct upgrade way from 7mode to C-Mode. You can reinstall the controllers with C-Mode but you will need to remove all data from the system.

Is there documentation for upgrading and initializing the controller?

hello:

I learned that 7-mode cannot be directly upgraded to C-mode, you need to change the parameters to enter C-mode, the following article is an article on changing C-mode to 7-mode, from 7-mode to C-mode The process of changing C-mode changes some of the parameters to true on it
