ONTAP 8.1 7-mode Options "disk"

Anyone familiar with what these disk options do.

This is an FAS3140 8.1 7-mode - one controller has these two options present and the partner node does not.

disk.powercycle.enable       on     (value might be overwritten in takeover)

disk.skip.dqp                      on     (value might be overwritten in takeover)

Hi,

disk.powercycle.enable -> Enables individual disk drive power cycling to support storage error recovery. It's an option introduced in ONTAP 7.2.1, with the first releases of shelves capable of power-cycle without the need of a full shutdown.

disk.skip.dqp -> I don't found any official information, but I think it's an option to skip the disk qualification package or something like this...

Would love to understand the ramifications of each option being set to yes | no.

Bizarre as to an 8.0 > 8.1 upg and the options are only present on one controller.
