ONTAP 8.3 feature

As per the NetApp sme in the Insight 2014 booth for 8.3 release, there is going to be a added feature in the snapmirror restore technology. I heard him saying, it can point to a specific snapshot on the DR side.  Not sure, how they would retain the base snap.  Anybody have any info on this.

One interesting option is the movement of Service Manager back to the system, much like Filerview was, only without the Java.  But, that does not help for Snapmirror.
