We need to install new Brocade G720 switches in order to create a new SAN and integrate it with an existing cluster with ONTAP 9.3. These switches are preinstaled by Brocade with FOS 9.0.1d since it is the latest target path released.
After checking the NetApp Interoperability Matrix (IMT) we have identified that ONTAP version 9.3 only supports up to FOS 9.0.0b. This FOS version is quite old and it is not longer available for downloading.
Is it possible that FOS version 9.0.1d is not compatible with ONTAP 9.3? Or is it just that IMT is not updated?

Could be a few things, for example, ONTAP 9.3 reached end of full support Jan 2021, so it's likely that it won't be vetted for support of a version that was just released. https://mysupport.netapp.com/site/info/version-support
You can see about requesting an fpvr via your account team and see if it gets approved.
Can you upgrade to 9.5 or preferably, 9.7?

Thank you very much.
We have in our roadmap to update ONTAP to 9.9.1 but it is planned to be released in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile we would need that both versions coexist.
Got ya. I would see about getting an fpvr via the account team for the support in the meantime then.

There is also IMT feedback you could e-mail them with.
End of engineering support means usually no further firmwares are qualified.
