Ctrl-C when prompted during boot to interrupt and then choose option 4.
I tried it and struck with following error.
'disk assign all' will assign all 25 disks to the controller.
Go into the maintenance mode, while booting using ctrl-c and assign the disks or initialize the disks, will take some time to zero the disks and initialize them.

Thanks for this explanation. I figured this out after much trial and error last night, but still not sure why I had to do this.
Would anyone mind explaining this to me since I'm still pretty new to the NetApp world? Using these simulators to get more hands on time with the interface, but keep hitting snags like this.

I have a post with step-by-step instructions that may help.
I am now able to get password screen and can log in . But how do i get the GUI mode from the CLI mode?
My document referenced above explains it step-by-step (up to creating a cluster (data) vserver).
But a quick answer be you need to download OnCommand System Manager.
