Ontap upgrade

hi all , 

i am trying to upgrade data ontap according to the upgrade advisor plan i have generate fron Netaop . when i am trying to update the ACP firmware i am getting the below message : 

[acpadmin list all] Cannot perform command as Alternate Control Path Management is disabled. Enable using "options acp.enabled on"

shall i proced with enable the ACP then update ?

Do you have ACP ports cabled on your shelves?

As an aside, the forum is sometimes a bit slow for real-time answers...for example when you're in the middle of an upgrade : )  You may want to phone support, they will be able to answer questions immediately.
