Reboot service processor

Hi,

i will update my ontap version (npd update) My filer runs longer as 500 days an i must reboot the sp.

Can i reboot the sp without downtime? Has the reboot a affect of my system, nfs oder iscsi?

The SP is completely independant from the user traffic.  It's essentially your iLO.

I would suggest reboot the SP before you start the upgrade.
