SMSQL 5.0R1 creates 2 backup versions on Protection Manager at backup side for 1 primary data backup?

Hi,

I have remarked that SMSQL 5.0R1 creates 2 backup versions at backup side :

- the first backup version contains the last snapshots of the database and the logs and the previous snapinfo snapshot

- the second backup version contains the last snapshots of the database, the logs and the snapinfo.

Is there any reason to keep the 2 backup versions ?

Thanks.

There was a limitation in Protection Manager, so SMSQL 5.0 needs to create 2 backup versions for supporting remote database cloning. However if you use SMSQL 5.1, only 1 backup version will be created.

Thanks,
