I am trying to setup SVM DR. I currently have a volume snapmirror relationship from cluster A -> Cluster B. Now I am trying to setup SVM-DR from Cluster B to Cluster C. After creating svmdr, the DP source volumes shows as unprotected. Am I doing something wrong or is the configuration not supported?

We use cascading snapmirror from B to C, but use Vol-DR.
Cluster A -> Cluster B is with SVM-DR
Cluster B -> Cluster C is with Vol-DR

I think that is not possible. I think you need to use Vol-DR in a cascaded relationship.

hello:
Without such a configuration, everything can only work properly by using vol_dr. The following article will be of help to you.
Best regards.

SVM DR in general is a disaster recovery solution.
so destination volumes within regular volume snapmirror can NOT be source fro SVM DR
