Shared excel file often locked

Hi!

I don´t know if this is a ONTAP problem or a Windows problem.

But a excel file that´s located on a vfiler is in shared state.

It´s about 20-30 users accessing this file per day.

Often the file gets locked, and I can go in and do 'lock status' and 'lock break', that solves the issue.

But the group using these excel files are starting to get irritated that the file often gets locked.

Is there a setting that facilitates this on the controller.. or does anyone know if there something in MS Office settings?
