Example # 1Multiple SnapShots have been taken of a volume containing File Share data. It becomes corrupted and needs to be restored to one of the previous hourly SnapShot copies.

Example # 2 daily SnapShots taken of a test SQL DB (cold). It is a baseline copy. Testing has concluded and the user wants to revert it back to its original state.

These are perfect examples for using SnapRestore. If you haven't used it before, you need a license, make sure host data is flushed to controller before taking the volume snapshots.
