Is it possible to snapmirror a qtree to a volume. I have a qtree on system 1 and I want it to be a seperate volume on system 2 (with no qtrees, just all non-qtree data). I know I can go the other way. Just have a use case where this would be handy.
No, it is not possible. You could simply move content out of qtree later.
snapmirror from qtree to volume is not possible at all.
It is either volume to volume or qtree to qtree as the heirarchy has to be maintained for Snapmirror.
Try ndmpcopy. This works on all scenarios.
