Terminate cDot cifs session

How can I terminate a cDot cifs session?  I have tried:

cifs session close -node cluster1-01 -vserver svm1 -session-id 1

and

net connections active delete -node cluster1-01 -cid 527755719 -vserver svm1

I get a message after running saying it was deleted but then when I do a cifs show, it's back with a different CID number.

If it gets different CID it means that client reconnects. There is nothing you can do from NetApp side short of banning the client entirely.
