Hi, i was going to upgrade a FAS8080EX HA pair to dataontap 8.3.1 (eventually p1).
Done the qual devices, and also the disk firmware, after that i've tried to look at the sp configuration.
SP of node1 wasn't responding so i've decided to restart it. Everything seemed normal but the SP didn't come up, after a while the node rebooted and since then i cannot boot the node in any ways.
I'm locked at the bootloader and everything i try to do finish to get me back to Loader prompt.
Here's an exemple of the output

Tried to upgrade the bios from 9.1.1 to 9.3 but nothing changed. It seems that the FAS can't read the SP conf and then it says it is unsupported. I've found a thread saying that it was the motherboard to be replaced, can this be the same case? is there anything i can do to bring up the SP back to work?
I've tried the following things:
reboot the controller
shut it down also detaching the power chord
tried to issue a "bye" at loader promtp
tried to boot from other images (boot_ontap, boot_primary, boot_backup, boot_diags)
tried to do "priv set test", "sp reset", "bye"
But i can't move from that prompt.
Thanks for the help
Solved! See The Solution
Power cut have already tried, so SP might have some persistent issue. Contact tech support. They may suggest motherboard replacement to fix it.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, i was thinking about it but i was wondering if there was a faster and less invasive solution (like an hidden command or a restricted procedure).
Bye!
Nope. This sounds like a strict hardware issue.
