Upgrade Path to Ontap Select 9.7

Hello together,

I´ve a customer who have a fine running Two Node Ontapt Select 9.5 HA Cluster with Deploy 9.5.2113.

Now we want to upgrade the Cluster to 9.7 but i cant find any upgradepath documention.

Can i upgrade direcly to it or musst i upgrade to 9.6 and then 9.7?

Hi Daniel, how did you get on with this? Did you upgrade deploy to 9.7 then do a normal upgrade to ONTAP 9.7 using the node upgrade image?

Hello davieb1969,

If you want to upgrade to the latest Version, then you must check the Release Notes of the Ontap Deploy Release. In some cases you must upgrade in two steps. If you done with the Deploy/Mediator Maschine, you can upgrade the Ontap like an normal Ontap upgrade with the Node Upgrade Image, this also means you must check the upgrade Steps for them in the Ontap Dokumentation.
