Hi,
Have you really got any traditional mirrored volumes? (if not, then you should use aggr split)
As per man pages - the command will not do any harm to the volume:

Radek, thank you very much! I see I should use "aggr split".
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
