Volume compression and deduplication error

Little background, I have a cluster running ontap version 8.3.1. I have two volumes that have compression and deduplication enabled on both. When I run vol efficiency start, compression and deduplciation are disabled right after and the log error I get is "Rename of metafile failed" for both volumes.

I can't find anything wrong with the storage on the volume or the aggregates.

Seems like you need to go turn the enable on then restore. See if that works bro good luck let know it should
