Hi,
Occasionally notice that these files are left around when snapshots are cleaned up and the owner appears to be unknown.
snap list -b Backup1
Volume Backup1
working...
name owners
------------ ----------
dataVolumeOne-dst.0 unknown
Is this some type of NetApp temporary file? Any best practice to clean up such files?
Thanks,
-=Marty

Hi Marty
I only saw "-dst.0" Snapshots on Snapvault-/SnapMirror-Destination Volumes. Is this volume part of a protection-/dr-relationship?
Kind regards,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,
Yes, the -dst.0 files are on a secondary storage volume where backup data was transferred to the volume via NDMP.
Perhaps this message title should have referenced secondary volume, instead of snapshot volume...
Best,
