hey I have a fas-2554 clustered

nod-1 has 12 HD BSAS of 1.62TB

nod-2 has 12 HD BSAS of 1.62TB

I managed to create an aggregate only from one node with 11 disks that's is 12TB  of capacity

I want to expand and youse the other 11 disks from node 2 to expand the capacity to 24TB

what are the commands to do so?

the picture is how it's supposed to be

You don't want to make use of the resources (CPU/Memory) of the other Node ? By having all the data on one Node, you might be wasting the resources, you might need to balance it out in future.

Anyway, to expand the existing aggregate : You need to re-assign the ownership of "spare disks" from Node-2 to Node-1, and once it is done, you should be able to expand it.

Which ONTAP is it? (Just look up for commands, there is plenty of documentation)

Hii

I have a  ontap 8.3.1 system

I want it to be redundant if the first node goes down  then node 2 takes it all

but I don't want it to lose the 24TB aggregate

I can't find anywhere there exact commands that I need by doing that
