Hi All, I am deploying Tamperproof Snapshots (TPS) and I am in the process of creating my snapshot policies with a retention period. My question is about the snapmirror and snapvault destination volumes. My understanding is that the snapshot expiry-time on the source snapshot will not carry over to the mirror/vault. Do I need to create and assign a snapshot policy on the mirror and vault? I thought you can’t create snapshots on these as they are read-only?

Hi All I've got two NetApp clusters. "ClusterA" and "ClusterB". Both are running ONTAP 9.11.1P10. "ClusterA" has an SVM that contains a volume that has thousands of Shares attached to it (Which is also around 15TB in size). We are planning on Decommissioning "ClusterA" but before we do that we need to move the data over to "ClusterB". What is the best, easiest and safest / most reliable method for us to do this? We need to migrate the SVM from ClusterA to ClusterB but also keep everything in the exact same state. Is there a way? Just to also mention (i'm not sure if this matters), there is a cluster peer between both clusters. Thanks

My ontap version is 9.13. While creating a volume through the web interface, I also created a new export policy at the same time, but a problem occurred. Is this a version bug?

I am be assign to make a poc for a customer I use FAS 2750 All flash the protocol is iSCSI I use all the space to create a aggr and a volume and a LUN because I just have two 10Gb SFP+, SO I plug the two SFP+ in the same Node, In the vSphere I create the vmkernel and connect to the two iSCSI Target IP in the Node's 10Gb's port but the poc's result is very bad, so I use the qos policy to set the min iops to 10000, and max iops to 50000 but the IOPS is still low how to optimize that I can get the best performance?
