boot_ontap give command status -6 on taken over partner...

I did a takeover (successful) but the taken over filer did not successfully reboot.  It's sitting at a LOADER-A prompt.  The commands boot_ontap and boot_primary both yield *** command status = -6.

boot_primary also gives:

Could not load fat://boot0/X86/freebsd/image1/kernel fat://boot0/X86_ELF/kernel/primary.krn: Device not found

I'm lost...

Looks like you boot device failed. You need to open support case to check and replace if necessary.
