hi everyone I have a strange issue, not sure if its an issue but its strange.
running cdot 8.2 and having an issue with my network ports.
The network team tells me there is nothing wrong. but I see an interface that shows down, but also shows up, I am confused.

Hi Anton Lebedev,
Check with the netdiag command and find out whether particular interface is up or down exactly.
you can refer the below link for the command reference.

Paste the output of netdiag if it shows the same problem.

Hari, i dont think netdiag is part of cdot commands, I dont see it listed in the manual; https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_download_file/ECMP1196817

which series of filer you are using ?

Well, it is single mode so only one link is normally active. I do not have any single mode vifs to compare, unfortunately.

can I change the ifgrp a0a or do I need to re-create it to change it from singlemode to multimode_lacp ?
You cannot change ifgrp type and it requires changing of switch configuration and possibly re-cabling.
