first , offline all volumes associated with that vserver
eg: cluster::> vol offline -vserver testsvm -volume testroot
Then destroy those volumes
eg: cluster::> vol destroy -vserver testsvm -volume testroot
Now you can delete the SVM.
eg: cluster::> vserver delete -vserver testsvm
