Hi,

Showing the below mentioned error in console message of filer.

"FILER> Fri Oct 23 07:14:35 GST [dr-fas3140a: ems.engine.inputSuppress:error]: Event 'scsitarget.partnerPath.misconfigured' suppressed 11 times since Fri Oct 23 06:19:24 GST 2015.
Fri Oct 23 07:14:35 GST [dr-fas3140a: scsitarget.partnerPath.misconfigured:error]: FCP Partner Path Misconfigured - Host I/O access through a non-primary and non-optimal path was detected."

Is this is normal or critical.

If it is critical than what is the solution for it.

Regards,

ems.engine.inputSuppress means log record for repeated event(scsitarget.partnerPath.misconfigured in this case) is suppressed.

Some FC SAN client is accessing to LUN through non-optimal path. This is non-critical state.

Solution is to fix the host that is causing the indirect access.

This extensive KB covers it:

Dear YishikawaThanks for your support.

As suggested above, you need to identify which host and LUN is used through non-optimal path, and check configuration of both NetApp and MPIO configuration on client host.In general, if both is configured to support ALUA, optimal path must be used.

Too many relative things and possible causes, so first you need to define actual comports and their configurations related to non-optimal LUN  access.
