fc setup issue - ontap 3.1

i have a fas2554 with ontap8.3p1 installed

in this i have 4 x fc apaters

so far i have connected 1 adapter to an fc switch

this apprears to be working as it can see the switch

i have then created a svm, but the adapter list is empty, how do i fix this?

needed to create lif's for each interface!

its strange how you ask for help, then you fix it straight away yourself
