Hi
As the licensing of Netapp has change i got now license for the flexclone functionnality.
I take back the administration several years ago of a messy netapp cluster.
There was some svm and volume but with no logic.
I would like to put all that in order.
Then i have to migrate tons of volume from messy svm to clean ones.
I don't have to change aggregates.
I m wondering if flexclone is a good alternative of rehosting volume.
if i clone a volume to a new svm i will all the time to make my change on client to point to the copy.
Am I right?

Hi
I replay myself to my question.
Well flexclone is not an option to replace volume rehosting.
indeed it was named FlexClone and not Flexcopy. There nos way to guarntee that the volume are identical after a certain amount of time.
