ndmpcopy between 7-mode and cluster mode

Is it possible to do ndmp copy from a clustered AFF A220 (ontap 9.7) to a 7-mode ontap machine?

And the other way around?

I am not trying to transition files. 

I want to routinely copy files (NFS) between those filers.
