ontap 8 multi tenancy

Hi

We're going to geploy several K8S clusters with Netapp Trident provisioner. It's supposed that every cluster will have separate administrator so each Trident will have unique ONTAP user configured. Each user will create multiple nfs shares. 

My question is how can I limit ONTAP users on storage consumption? For example each user's shares total capacity should not exceed 5TB.

You can create a Quota policy rule. You may get restricted to Vservers and Volumes.
