We setup snapmirror using SnapManager , we want to delete the snapshots at the destination volumes.

becuase of the snapmirror the destination volumes are read only and it does not allow us to delete the snapshots.

Is there any setting in SnapManager where we can delete the snapshots since we do not want any snapshots?

Volume SnapMirror is exact copy. You cannot modify destination as long as SnapMirror is active. You need to remove snapshots on source.

Only way is to break the snap mirror relation and delete the snapshots but then again if you initialize the relation the destination is back to read-only again and it will create the snapshots as usual per the schedule.
