can somebody lay down what license FAS needs to have Syncsort in production in full capacity?

SnapVault Secondary, iSCSI (for IA and IV features), and FlexClone.

Also SnapMirror if you want to use the Tertiary mount feature...Syncsort handles mounting the snapmirror target instant availability as well which is a nice feature if you need replication of your backup.

SnapMirror, SnapVault 2nd, iSCSI, FlexClone. Anything else for running Syncsort in full capacity?

That should cover it. The nsb documentation also covers it but I don't have in front of me right now.

Hi Scott
absolutly correct
Mandatory on the target FAS
SnapVault 2nd, iSCSI, FlexClone
optional:
- Snapmirror to mirror the Snapvault Volumes to a Tertiarry FAS
- Snapvault Primary on a Primary FAS if you want manage SnapVault Relationships with Syncsort
