Hello,
I've just installed a two-node vsim 9.10.1 ova on my ESXi homelab. Not supported, I know..
It installs just fine and seems to work OK, except both nodes use a large amount of CPU even when totally idle. Both nodes use 3.5GHz of CPU where most other software uses next to nothing when idle. Is this a known issue that also occurs on VMWare Workstation? Any tunables to reduce the CPU consumption?

vSIMs and CVO are both ONTAP VMs and function the same in this regard. https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Cloud_Services/Cloud_Volumes_ONTAP_(CVO)/Cloud_Volumes_ONTAP_instance_is_running_with_max_CPU_utiliza...
This is normal and expected.
