FAS6240 and DS4243 cabling

Hello,

We currently have an HA pair FAS6240 with 4 DS4243 shelves and one DS4243 with SSD disks We just bough another 10 shelves and we are unsure how to proceed with the cabling.

We are currently cabled as the cable bottom secinario. How many shelves are supported in this configuration? How many are recommended for optimal performance?

Hi,

You can have up to 10 DS4243 shelves in one stack, so definitely you need to create a new one for new shelves.

Also SSD drives should be on a separate stack, so it looks like you should end up with three stacks.
