We recently purchased two NetApp AFF250 Disk Array for performance test on OpenStack cloud. Cinder volume is configured to use NetApp NFS driver as backend driver.
Our performance testing can achieve 4000 IOPS at OpenStack compute node host level but can only achieve 100O IOPS in VM on the same OpenStack compute node.
If there is any configuration tunning can be done to reach same IOPS level in VM as compute host level?
If you have some guide for this, could you please help provide the link and detail the section related?
I don't think this is a NetApp specific problem. https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Documentation/HypervisorTuningGuide is all I can find.
