Purchasing additional disk drives for a FAS2020

Hello,

I have an old FAS2020 with six 1TB drives populated. I know this series is totally EOL but is it possible to purchase additional disk drives to fill up the drive bays on the device and where can I purchase these?

Also, will an off the market SAS disk work? Unlikely but its worth a try.

You won't be able to add bare manufacturer drives directly, but you can source older NetApp drives (wioth the required firmware and drive caddy) from eBay or other 3rd party sellers.  Since that model is EOS you should look to a 3rd party for hardware support anyway, you can probably find a cheap solution and they can source you the additional drives as well.
