Resurrecting a half-populated AFF A300

Hi All,

We have recently obtained a 2-node AFF A300, but the trouble is, it was formerly a 4-node system.  Is there a convenient (or inconvenient) way to remove the 2 nodes we don't have, so it can just operate nicely as a 2-node system?  Everything appears healthy excepting of course the two missing nodes and their associated volumes and aggregates.  I would nuke the whole thing but I don't want to lose the licenses on the two surviving nodes.  Unless there's a way to back those up...

What would you do if it were yours?  Just hate to see it wind up in the scrap pile if the hardware is still perfectly fine.

PS Netapp support is expired and not an option for us to renew.

Cheers,

What was the resolution to this?  Interested in why it is being scrapped.
