Good Day "NetAppians"

Hope you all well.

I've got an issue and hoping someone could assist.

In my enviroment: FAS2246 with 2x1TB SATA DS4243 and 1x1.2TB SAS DS2246 .

The SAS shelf is newly installed.

My question:

Can i cable all three shelves into one stack?

The FAS2246 only has two SAS port per controller so two stacks with multipathing is not possible.

Does mixing iOM3 & iOM6 in one stack have any issues on the storage?

Please any guidence will do.

Thanks

Hi,

in your case its supported to cable all in one stack. See the storage Subsystem guide for more information. Multipath is only possible to if you use a 2240HA pair.
