Hello,
I have added a DS4243 with 24 1TB drives to my FAS2040.
It looks like the disks on my new shelf have already been assigned before. Anytime I try to do a disk_removeownership or disk_unassign it says this can only be done in maintenance mode?
How can I unassign and reassign the disks with out taking the filer down? (I only have one controller)

Try this:
Identify the actual sysid owner:
> disk show
Remove the ownership using disk assign:
> disk assign <disk_id> -o unowned -s <sysid>

It looks as though you have no spare disks in raid group 0, would you be able to copy the output of 'sysconfig -r'?

To me, it looks like the below disk should not be assigned to the partner node but the node you took the 'sysconfig -r' from.

Im not sur if i have all understand. I don't know what's a partner disk.
With the command sysconfig -r, we can see the disk is used. if i remove the ownership of this disk. I don't loose data ?

A partner disk is a disk that is owned by the partner node in the HA pair. Im not too sure, it all depends on the the partner node, would you be able to run a 'sysconfig -r' on the other controller too?

Ok i have see the problem. We can see on the other controller pool0 and pool1 was empty. I have remove owner disk and reasign it from the other controller.
But i don't understand why i don't see the same pool0 and pool1 on the twoo controller. Now the status controller is "normal".
