Hi

I notice one of our stacks is reporting a problem with the cable.

Cable attached to SAS port "12d" is functioning in a degraded mode.

looking at sas admin expander. Both shelves show an disabled initatior. Is this something configurable or down to the faulty cable between the 2 shelves?

Andrew,

I would open a ticket with NetApp support as soon as possible, they have access to commands within sasadmin that can maullaually enable drive bay and available paths within the SAS stack.
