will the controller boot if remove one of the DIMM

Hello Everyone,

 

I have a quick question, will the controller boot and continue to function properly if i remove one of the faulty DIMM? (3 DIMMs in the controller instead of 4)

Because new DIMM will take some time to arrive and some crtitcal services are runing on the SAN.

The storage system fails to boot and halts by itself.

The following error message is reported when the storage system boots:
'system DIMM configuration is not supported by FASxxxx'

 

so i think answer should be no
