Required DNS and AD servers deatils

Hi,

I am setting up new simulator. I have downloaded lab and setup is completed. I need help on setup DNS and AD for CIFS setup. in lab guide I did't see any DNS and AD sever details.

You would need a Windows server and run dcpromo ..that would run through a wizard to setup  DNS  server and AD roles for your domain . 

Alternatively if you do not need the full functionality a workgroup may work  Is Workgroup Mode Supported for CIFS/SMB in ONTAP? - NetApp Knowledge Base
