FPolicy Events Exclude Open/Read Events of specific user

We have a FPolicy Policy Event that reports all Actions to a third party system.

Another System is scanning through all the files on the NetApp Share.

I have seen it is possible to exclude open/read operations from FPolicy Events.

-file-operations <File Operation>

Is it possible to exclude open/read operations for a specific user from FPolicy Events?

I think the only Options are:

  • The shares to include or exclude from what gets monitored

  • The export policies to include or exclude from what gets monitored

  • The volumes to include or exclude from what gets monitored

  • The file extensions to include or exclude from what gets monitored

Dear Fabian Thank you for your answer.

Would it be possible to create a export policy that specifies a user and exclude that policy from the fpolicy event?

Would that scenario have other impacts on security, performance or access to the share?

I have Tested this Scenario and unfortunately this didn't work.
The export policy was active and also working but the events wer not excluded
