Software Development Kit (SDK) and API Discussions
We have a FPolicy Policy Event that reports all Actions to a third party system.
Another System is scanning through all the files on the NetApp Share.
I have seen it is possible to exclude open/read operations from FPolicy Events.
-file-operations <File Operation>
Is it possible to exclude open/read operations for a specific user from FPolicy Events?
I think the only Options are:
The shares to include or exclude from what gets monitored
The export policies to include or exclude from what gets monitored
The volumes to include or exclude from what gets monitored
The file extensions to include or exclude from what gets monitored
Dear Fabian Thank you for your answer.
Would it be possible to create a export policy that specifies a user and exclude that policy from the fpolicy event?
Would that scenario have other impacts on security, performance or access to the share?

I have Tested this Scenario and unfortunately this didn't work.
The export policy was active and also working but the events wer not excluded
