How to develop an external FPolicy Server?

Hi,

I am completely new to NetApp Filer and trying to develop a solution for monitoring CIFS and NFS changes on ONTAP Cluster.

Gone through the FPolicy concept which actually generates external on-wire notifications when files are accessed over CIFS / NFS by the client, and these FPolicy SDKs are legally protected. I got an approval from NetApp to use FPolicy SDKs, But i am not fully aware of how to use this FPolicy SDK.

Someone please help me on following things -

1. How to develop an external FPolicy Server to communicate with the ONTAP Cluster?

2. With the approval for using FPolicy SDK, what are the resources NetApp will share with me?

3. After getting approval for using FPolicy SDK, What are the tasks I have to plan for monitoring CIFS and NFS changes on ONTAP Cluster.

Since I know, you should create an external fpolicy engine first, then send events to it.

Unfortunately all these links are talking about how to communicate with external FPolicy Server. None of them are talking about how to develop (or) how to get an external FPolicy Server 😞 .

Anyone know whom to contact for understanding external FPolicy Server?
