Hi,
Configuration is FAS8200 HA pair  NetApp Release 9.5P1, FC connected to Brocade 6510( HPE SN6000B 48 Port 16Gb Fibre Channel Switch ) FOS v7.4.1f
Commands "vserver fcp topology show" and "network fcp topology show" works fine but

"network fcp zone show" Fails:

Warning: Unable to list entries for kernel on node "node1": Fabric query operation timed out or was rejected.
Unable to list entries for kernel on node "node2": Fabric query operation timed out or was rejected.
Error: show failed: Fabric query operation timed out or was rejected.
does this command relies on the brand of the SAN switch?
Regards,
Ben

OK the SANswitch firmware is updated to  Switch Release: v7.4.2d

But the error is the same:

network fcp zone show

show failed: Fabric query operation timed out or was rejected

The documentation does not help.

Maybe "zone show" depends on Metro cluster or zoneset-naming which are not used.

I think this command does not  applies to our configuration.

thank you for your support!

Regards,

Ben

According to the IMT FC -> ONTAP 9.5 ->  6510  show a min of 7.4.2b

i would upgrade your switch if you can and start there.

That could be,  I don't see it listed in the MCC documentation.

does "storage switch show" give you anything.

This table is currently empty.

That's an MCC command.  https://docs.netapp.com/ontap-9/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.netapp.doc.dot-cm-cmpr-930%2Fstorage__switch__show.html

So yeah,  I'd agree that the ones you asked about  MCC only too.
