Hi! Since we upgraded VSC from 7.2.1 to 9.6 we are not able to add new storage systems that are running ONTAP 9.5. We can still add ONTAP 9.1 and 9.3 clusters. All cluster mgmt lifs are in the same network and can be resolved from VSC appliance. The only difference is ONTAP version. We tried different web browsers, web-based CLI interface, appliance restart, different TLS settings, SSL reset...
Error message: Error - StorageFault: com.netapp.offtap3.ConnectionException: Connection is refused for host 172.20.0.9 com.netapp.offtap3.ontap.ApiFailedException: Connection refused (Connection refused) (errno=13055)
There is no event logged on storage.
We had similar issues with Netapp Data Broker. We were not able to add SVMs from ONTAP 9.5 cluster. On the other side we had no issues with 9.1 and 9.3 systems. Luckily, we were able to add it via flex vsphere console. Since the new VSC is html only, we can't try this 'workaround' anymore.
