VSC and VASA - unregister manually

Is there a way to unregistered the VASA component manually? My VASA appliance crashed so I was not able to unregister it and I cannot register a new one?

Where you able to find the answer to this?  We lost our VASA VM as well and cannot unregister it through the console.
