esx cannot see netapp lun

i am rying to create a lun to my esx server but have not been able o do it.

I have created he volume, qtree, lun and initialtor group and map the lun o the initiator group but rescan of the hba still does not see the lun. the san switch is configured correctly since no zones have been configured and its full access. any idea?

I noticed that the lun i creaed in netapp even though i select vmware changes back to solaris afer its been created.

any idea

Check if fcp is running at all ("fcp status").

Also check to see what initiators your filer sees as connected ("fcp show initiators")

Finally check that you have configured your (onboard-)ports as target ports ("fcadmin config")
