"NAFailedException while verifying"

I get this error message when trying to authenticate the RBAC role/user we setup for the controller and vCenter. It does this to our other controller too.  We are using VSC 2.0.1 and vSphere 4.1.0

Nope, still getting the error message. Not much help around the Internet for this issue either. I'll probably just uninstall the plugin and wait for the next release.

I had 1.0 working fine.  Figured I'll try 2, but not having much love with it.

Try the root credentials for the filer, if that works then you know its  role-based access problem.

You need ontap 7.3.3 or newer if your working with a vfiler as well.

Have you tried to use a local account on the server, matching a local (rbac) account on the storage controller?
