Have you confirmed your software configuration is compatible in the Interoperability Matrix Tool (IMT)? This KB article "directory of KB's" might be helpful... Top LUN mapping issues and solutions 8.1.3 is past EoVS. Consider upgrading to 8.2.5P1 - at some point.

DO NOT modify to non-ha in maintenance mode. You are running a 2-in-1 chassis HA pair and that is the mode you should stay in. Looks like "storage failover" HA is not happy. Try toggling it (disable/enable). It should automatically set "cluster ha" to true. If not, try to enable it manually, again. Worst case, halt both nodes and verify disk ownership is as expected from maintenance mode. Better yet, open a case with NetApp Support.

1GbE Cluster interconnects are NOT supported, as of ONTAP 8.2. If you can tolerate the single point of failure, you can run only one 10GbE link between the two nodes (switchless) and use the 2nd 10GbE port for front-end connectivity.

The Shelf Name consists of two values: Stack-ID.Shelf-ID. ONTAP assigns an arbitrary stack ID, starting with 1 for every stack found in the cluster. Q: I assume you added shelf 20 to the same stack as shelf 10? When ONTAP discovers new shelves, it should have just assigned the shelf to the existing stack ID. In your case, did you have any problems with cabling or possibly temporary duplicate shelf ID's when you added this stack? That is the usual reason for ONTAP changing the stack ID of existing shelves. In any case, it's not service affecting that the stack ID's change. Nonetheless, if you'd like to regain your stack ID 1 again, you can force ONTAP to rescan and re-enumerate the stacks and shelves by performing a takeover and giveback in both directions.

If you don't already have the FC mezzanine module, I'm not sure where you'll be able to find them - NetApp no longer sells this platform or module. The marketing part number is X1150A-R6. You have to pull the PCM canister to install this module. The ports are by default ready for attachment to DS14 storage shelves (assuming you have the cables). There is no mixing between the FC-AL and SAS shelves. They are separate storage domains. ACP is only applicable to the SAS shelves and the e0P ports on the nodes.

I would try Option 9 operations, again. Open a case with NetApp Support. The node appears to be down (not running ONTAP). Connect to the serial console port directly or via the SSH to SP to reach it. Try to boot ONTAP from there and check the messages that result.
