Hi Jiang,

OK, for that one you can try the Huawei Oceanstor data source - if it fails, try packaging up a support recording and opening a case. No guarantees it will get fixed by support, but if it runs the same FW and API as the 'other' OceanStor arrays, you have a decent chaance.

You could configure an SNMP data source, assuming the array has a MIB, to collect some basic metrics via SNMP (if you're running v7.3) - see http://docs.netapp.com/oci-73/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.netapp.doc.oci-ht-all%2FGUID-45D39F22-5FCE-4672-B17B-5B129CC5444A.html

It's probably also worth submitting an enhancement request via your NetApp account team.

Bryan

Hi Jiang,

Is this a new model of storage system, or a new model of disk? Adding a new disk model is relatively trivial - you can find instructions here:

https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMLP2573779/html/GUID-D75EF0D3-3DAA-4217-972B-7559C250A2E0.html

If this is a new model of storage system, please post the vendor / model and we'll see what is available in terms of patches.

Hi Bryan:

Thanks for your reply.

This is a new model of storage system. vendor is Huawei , model is Dorado V3.

As I know OCI support Huawei V3 storage, but Dorado V3 is huawei new model ,  OCI don't support it.

So i want to know can i develop a patch for Dorado V3 by myself ?

Thanks,

Regards
